Η Αγγελική είναι υπεύθυνη του HDC. Διαχειρίζεται το πρόγραμμα εφαρμογής των δράσεων του Κέντρου στη Θεσσαλονίκη και είναι υπεύθυνη για την εύρεση, την επιλογή και τη διαχείριση των στρατηγικών συνεργασιών μας. Είναι expert στην οικονομική διαχείριση, την επιχειρηματική ανάπτυξη, την υμβουλευτική και την Design-driven καινοτομία.

Partners & Sustainability

Η Χριστίνα είναι ειδική στο σχεδιασμό Υπηρεσιών (Service Design) και είναι υπεύθυνη για διαφορετικές πτυχές του Κέντρου. Διαχειρίζεται και υποστηρίζει διάφορα trainings και συνεργασίες του Κέντρου σχετικά με το Design Thinking και Design μεθοδολογίες και έχει μεγάλη εμπειρία στα εργαλεία, τις διαδικασίες και τις προκλήσεις που λύνει το Design.

Kaboukos Dimitris


Ο Δημήτρης είναι υπεύθυνος για την επικοινωνία, την προώθηση και τη στρατηγική marketing του HDC. Διαχειρίζεται την επικοινωνιακή στόχευση των δράσεων μας και την εύρεση του κατάλληλου target group. Συμβάλλει στη διαχείριση των δραστηριοτήτων και των workshops που σχετίζονται με το Design και την καινοτομία.

Thalia Rizou

Services & Workshops

Η Θάλεια είναι expert στην οργάνωση και τα facilitating trainings & workshops που σχετίζονται με το Service Design, την κοινωνική επιχειρηματικότητα και τις συμμετοχικές διαδικασίες. Έχει μεγάλη εμπειρία στη διαχείριση προγραμμάτων (projects) με κοινωνικό αντίκτυπο και στο HDC αναπτύσσει υπηρεσίες Design και καινοτόμα workshops.

Jan R. Stavik

A graduate from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and INSEAD, France, Jan has spent most of his professional life in marketing and senior management, working for Norwegian as well as international companies and brands including Unilever, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola, Jordan, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and EAC-KiMS (Malaysia).
Jan has been Managing Director of the Norwegian Design Council (NDC from 1999 to 2014. In his time, Jan has experienced considerable budget increases from the government, enabling the NDC to introduce major national design projects. In February 2005, the NDC opened Norway’s first National Centre for Design and Architecture. From 2014 to 2017, Jan was responsible for International Relations and Projects at the Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture.
Jan was a Board Member of BEDA for a number of years and served as its President from 2009 to 2011. From 2001 to 2005, Jan was President of the Board of ERA 2005 – the World Design Congress, which took place in the Nordic countries in September 2005 with more than 1,500 participants from over 50 countries around the world.

Anna Whicher

Anna is Head of Design Policy at PDR – the International Design and Research Centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her main interests are in developing, implementing and evaluating government policy and services using design methods. Currently, she is leading a number of collaborative projects including Design4Innovation, a Design Action Plan for the UK and People Powering Policy. Anna is a board member of the Bureau of European Design Associations, a reviewer for the European Commission and an accredited trainer by the Service Design Network.

John Matthers

John has been working for almost forty years in the brand and design industry, leading a number of marketing, brand and design consultancies in the UK and Internationally.

Most recently he has led the UK Design Council through a period of change and moved on from that role in 2016 after four years as CEO.

Over the last fifteen years he has been actively committed to the development of the design industry, serving as President of the DBA (Design Business Association) for three years as well as being involved in various ways with the broader design community.

In 2017 he co-founded The British Design Fund, a venture capital fund supporting well-designed British product start-ups. His other commitments include sitting on the Board of Falmouth University, as well as Trustee roles at 1418Now, the WW1 arts charity and MOBIE, the Ministry of Building Innovation and Education, committed to new ideas about education in home building.

John has also spent time, in the last two years, working in China and is currently a Guest Professor at both the School of Art, Zhejiang University of Technology and the School of Design and Innovation, Tongji University in Shanghai.

Christina Melander

Christina Melander is programme director and responsible for the Danish Design Centre’s strategic platform Design Dimensions, which is creating new knowledge and new partnerships, projects, and programmes that contribute to the professionalisation of the Danish design industry and branding of Danish design nationally and internationally.

Christina is committed to disseminating knowledge about how design helps drive important positive changes and why companies that use design strategically do better, create more jobs and generate more growth. Therefore, Christina is passionate about initiating and carrying out projects aimed at not only conveying good stories but inspire real-life action.

Christina is Head of Danish Design Award that annually celebrates the difference design can make for businesses and society. The Danish Design Award is a joint creation of the Danish Design Centre and the alliance of design professionals, Design denmark. In 2018, the aim is to increase the awareness of the difference design makes using the award as the enabler as well as strengthen development and value creation among finalists and winners through community driven activities.

Christina has been with the DDC since 2000 and holds an MSc in Design and Communication Management from the Copenhagen Business School.
